ROS is a frustum culling system that will gradually render ob jects in or out that are within range of the given distance from the camera (with ROS shader and sc ript), this is similar to what AAA games do. A lot of times performance is wasted due to distant ob jects being rendered when not needing to be. ROS also features the option to render ob jects by category Clutter, Character, and Building, each with category with its own distance.
ROS will greatly improve fr ame rate, can cut draw calls by up to 60%, and can cut tris counts by up to 84% (all when compared to not using ROS) allowing for much more detailed levels or scenes. This all allows a smooth, high, consistent fr ame rate plus works with both Unity and Unity Pro.
